MATCHING & COMPARISON METHODOLOGY
This page explains, in general terms, how ADD SALE may display, match, filter, compare or present Providers and related information on the Platform (the “Methodology”). This Methodology should be read together with the Terms and Conditions. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms and Conditions.
1. Purpose of the Methodology
The Platform is an information and facilitation tool designed to help business users identify and connect with independent third-party Providers that may be relevant to the user’s stated needs. The Platform does not provide financial, legal, tax, compliance or other professional advice, and it does not guarantee outcomes.
2. Data sources and coverage
Information shown on the Platform may be based on one or more of the following sources:
- information you provide via questionnaires, forms, filters and selections;
- information provided by Providers (including product scope, supported markets, requirements and indicative parameters);
- information from our operational experience of introductions (e.g., high-level status outcomes); and/or
- publicly available information (where appropriate).
The payments/fintech market changes rapidly. Accordingly:
- the Platform may not include all Providers in the market;
- information may be incomplete, simplified, or subject to change; and
- availability of Provider data may differ by geography, segment, method, or product.
We do not warrant that any Provider information is current, complete or error-free, and we are not obliged to monitor, verify or continuously update Provider information. Providers may change their criteria and offerings at any time.
3. Inputs you provide
Matching and comparison outputs depend materially on the accuracy and completeness of the information you submit. Examples of inputs that may impact outputs include:
- business model and industry;
- target markets/geographies and customer locations;
- products/services sold and risk indicators;
- expected volumes, currencies, transaction sizes, and chargeback exposure;
- desired payment methods and functionalities;
- integration preferences (hosted checkout/API/plugins), technical constraints, and timelines; and
- corporate structure and onboarding readiness (high-level).
You remain responsible for ensuring you have authority to submit information (including any personal data of other individuals) and that information is accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ADD SALE is not obliged to disclose the specific weights, thresholds, logic, or internal parameters used for scoring, filtering or ordering, and is not required to provide an individual explanation for any particular output, ranking or exclusion.
4. How matching may work (high level)
Depending on the feature used, the Platform may apply:
- hard filters (e.g., market availability, supported payment methods, prohibited categories);
- compatibility checks (e.g., integration type, currency coverage, settlement constraints); and/or
- relevance scoring (e.g., weighted alignment with your stated preferences and constraints).
Matching may be rule-based, weighted, and/or partially automated. Any automation is intended to assist information display and does not replace Provider underwriting, compliance checks, or your decision-making.
We do not promise that any match is “best”, “approved”, “guaranteed” or “suitable” for you. Provider acceptance and terms are determined solely by the Provider.
Any scoring or automation is intended solely to support information display and shortlist creation. It is not intended to produce legal effects or similarly significant effects, and it does not constitute a decision about your eligibility. Final eligibility and onboarding decisions are made solely by Providers.
5. How comparisons and rankings may be presented
Where the Platform shows a list, comparison table, selector output, or similar presentation, ordering and visibility may depend on factors such as:
- relevance to your inputs and selected filters;
- availability/completeness of Provider information;
- technical compatibility and product scope;
- geography and regulatory constraints;
- operational availability (e.g., Providers temporarily pausing onboarding); and/or
- other practical factors aimed at producing a useful shortlist.
Where any placement is paid/sponsored, it should be labelled as such on the Platform.
Sponsored placements (if any) may appear within results or in dedicated sections, and will be labelled where presented. The Platform may also exclude Providers that do not participate, do not support the relevant geography/category, or where data is insufficient to present meaningful information.
6. Commercial relationships and potential influence
ADD SALE may have commercial relationships with some Providers (including referral, introduction, service or success-based fees). Such relationships may affect:
- whether a Provider participates in the Platform;
- the depth and freshness of information we can display; and/or
- the ability to enable certain features (e.g., direct introductions).
However, we do not guarantee neutrality, completeness or accuracy of any market view, and you should independently verify Provider requirements and terms.
7. Limitations and disclaimers
- Provider information may be updated without notice and may differ from what is shown on the Platform.
- The Platform may not reflect all fees, contractual conditions, underwriting criteria, settlement flows, reserve/rolling reserve policies, chargeback programmes, fraud controls, or regulatory requirements.
- You are responsible for due diligence and for obtaining professional advice where appropriate.
- Any information shown is indicative and for information purposes only and does not constitute an offer, quote, commitment, or binding term from any Provider.
- You should not rely on the Platform as the sole basis for any decision; you must confirm requirements and terms directly with the Provider.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law, as further set out in the Terms and Conditions.
8. Changes to this Methodology
We may update this Methodology from time to time as features evolve. The updated version will be published on the Platform and applies from the date of publication.
