COOKIE POLICY

This Cookie Policy explains how ADD SALE uses cookies and similar technologies on the Platform. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms not defined in this Cookie Policy have the meanings given in the Terms and Conditions.

1. Who we are

For the purposes of this Cookie Policy, “ADD SALE”, “we”, “us” and “our” means Sabiedrība ar ierobežotu atbildību “ADD sale”, a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Latvia with registration number 40103822268 and legal address at Burtnieku iela 36–1, Riga, LV-1084, Latvia.

Our contact details and communication channels (including privacy enquiries) are published on the Platform and may be updated from time to time.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, mobile or tablet) when you visit a website. Your browser sends cookies back to the website on subsequent visits so the website can recognise your device, remember preferences, and support functionality.

A) Strictly necessary cookies (essential)

These cookies are required for the Platform to function and cannot be switched off in our systems (except through browser settings, which may break the Platform). They may include cookies used to:

  • maintain session state (e.g., keeping you in a flow);
  • load-balance requests and protect the Platform (e.g., security tokens);
  • prevent fraud and abuse and support security/diagnostic logging.

Legal basis (where applicable): our legitimate interests in operating, securing and maintaining the Platform and/or necessity to provide the Services you request, to the extent permitted by law.

B) Functional cookies (preferences)

These cookies allow the Platform to remember choices you make and provide enhanced features, such as:

  • remembering preferences (e.g., language, region);
  • remembering your cookie consent choices;
  • improving usability and consistency across visits.

Functional cookies may be optional depending on configuration.

C) Analytics / performance cookies

  • improve the Platform’s performance and stability;

D) Marketing / targeting cookies (if used)

We may, from time to time, use cookies that help measure campaign effectiveness or support marketing communications (e.g., to understand whether users reached the Platform via a campaign).

Important: We do not commit to using marketing cookies. If we do use them, we will obtain consent where required by law and provide appropriate disclosures in the cookie banner/manager.

Depending on the category of cookie, information collected may include:

  • usage data such as pages visited, referral URLs, timestamps, interactions/events;

Where cookie data constitutes personal data, it is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on the Platform and will apply from the date of publication.
